Kierikki - A journey through the Stone Age for the whole family

Kierikki Stone Age Centre takes you back thousands of years to the middle of a Stone Age river landscape. Situated on the banks of the Iijoki River, this destination offers things to do and see for all ages - especially families with children.

Children will get to experience history first-hand: walk the long wooden paths to a real-looking stone village, try their hand at ancient crafts, shoot a bow and explore Stone Age artefacts. Workshops are for DIY and learning through play, and there's plenty of space to run around and have adventures in the outdoor area.

SuperPark Oulu - indoor fun in all weathers

SuperPark Oulu is an indoor activity park in Limingantull, a short distance from the centre of Oulu. The park offers sports fun in all weathers for all ages - the Adventure Area, Game Arena and Freestyle Hall invite you to adventure and fun. SuperPark Oulu is open from Tuesday to Friday from 14.00 to 20.00 and on weekends from 11.00 to 18.00. On Mondays the park is closed.

Courage and exuberance in the treetops - A whirlwind adventure awaits

Adventure Park Huikia offers thrilling experiences and the chance to transcend yourself in the upper air with a rope adventure. The trails are built into the trees, with safety harnesses attached, and the tasks are suitably challenging for both children and adults - in total, there are around 150 different tasks. The park is located near the Raksila swimming pool in Pikkukankaanpuisto, within walking distance of the centre of Oulu. The Huikia adventure does not require any previous climbing experience - you will receive on-site guidance and safety instructions before entering the routes. Huikia is open in autumn from Wednesday to Friday from 15 to 20 and on Saturdays from 11 to 20. The park is closed on Sundays, unless a group booking has been arranged. These opening hours are valid until the end of September.

Exit Oulu offers exciting escape room games where the whole family can test their wits, teamwork and cleverness. Escape games are adventures in which a team of 2-6 people solve puzzles and search for clues to get out of a room within a set time limit.
